The Story Behind Mariah K Homes
Mariah Koehle founder of Mariah K Homes
Mariah K Homes did not begin as a business plan. It actually began as a fresh start believe it or not! When my family and I moved from Southern California to Utah five years ago, I didn’t know a single person in the area we moved to. I had young kids, a brand new real estate license in a brand new state, and a tiny Instagram account that I hoped might help me connect with people. What I did have was a consistent personality, a background in teaching, and a belief that showing up on the regular would open doors. I had no idea it would change everything.
What began as sharing our move, home tours, beautiful homes, our family activities, and what life in Utah really looks like slowly grew into a real estate brand that reaches millions. Today, Mariah K Homes is known for luxury real estate marketing, relocation guidance, lifestyle content, and community storytelling across Instagram, YouTube, and my podcast. I help buyers and sellers all over Utah and I also teach agents across the country how to use social media to grow their business.
People often assume this came easily, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I rebuilt my business from the ground up while navigating a move, raising four kids, and building relationships in a completely new place. Every client came from social media, every deal was earned through trust, and every milestone was the result of years of showing up online even when it felt uncomfortable. Social media allowed me to build a real estate business that fits my life as a mom, lets me serve clients in a personal way, and gives me the freedom to grow a brand I truly love.
Mariah K Homes has now expanded far beyond helping people buy and sell homes. It has become a place where people go to learn about living in Utah, from exploring Park City to navigating life in Salt Lake County to understanding what makes each neighborhood unique. It is a place where families relocating from California, Arizona, Texas, Washington, and beyond find real answers and honest insights about what life here is really like.
I also created the Social Agent Circle to help real estate agents learn the strategies that helped me build my business. Coming from a background in education, teaching feels natural to me. I love helping agents realize they can grow a successful business without burning out, and that social media can feel fun instead of overwhelming.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey is the people I’ve met along the way. Every week I talk with families who are thinking about moving to Utah, clients who are building their dream home, and agents who are ready to level up their business. I get to help people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives, and I never take that responsibility lightly. Whether someone is buying their first home, touring luxury real estate, or exploring communities through my YouTube channel, my goal is always the same: make the process clear, enjoyable, and deeply personal.
Today, Mariah K Homes continues to grow in ways I never imagined. We are building our own custom home in Highland, documenting the journey on social media, and sharing the behind the scenes of design, building, budgeting, and all the little decisions that come with creating a home. This experience has given me even more insight I can pass on to clients who are building or remodeling themselves.
Through every chapter, this brand has remained rooted in real connections and real storytelling. Whether you follow for home tours, relocation tips, lifestyle content, or educational resources, I want this to be a place where you feel inspired and supported.
If you are thinking about moving to Utah, buying or selling a home, or simply want help understanding the market, I would love to connect. And if you are an agent who wants to build a business through social media without losing your life in the process, I’m here for you too.
Thank you for being here and for being part of the Mariah K Homes community. This brand has grown because of the trust people place in me, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to serve.
